A misc. bundle of smaller assets done for The Last of of Us Part II. With the exception of the guardian lion statue, the other assets were done from modelling, uvs, lowpoly and texture work.
Substance Designer was used for all the baking, texturing and the previews that you see here. The main idea at the time was to reduce jumping around different softwares for textures/bakes etc. We could also easily handle different texture sets and combining it at the end was done in SD as well. Win-win!
Materials were often separated based on 'base material', generic global masking, detailed masking per material, and taking care to keep textures within the ideal range. Aside from some custom nodes for combining different texture sets provided by NaughtyDog, we mostly used native designer nodes to avoid creating any issues for them in-house.
